FAQ
How far in advance do I need to reach out to get started?
I typically have availability within a few weeks. If you have a specific timeline in mind, mention it in the form and we can talk through it on our consultation call. The sooner you reach out, the sooner we can get you scheduled.
What does a first session look like?
Your first session is an intake. We’ll talk through your history, what’s been going on, and what you’re hoping to get out of therapy. For couples, both partners are part of this conversation. From there, we build a personalized treatment plan with goals that are actually yours.
Do you only offer in-person sessions, or can I see you virtually?
I see clients in person in Seminole, Florida, and offer virtual therapy to individuals and couples anywhere in Florida. Evening appointments are available for couples counseling.
Do you accept insurance?
I am a private pay practice. Sessions are $175 per session, and each session is 60 minutes in length. I am an out-of-network provider and am happy to provide a superbill, which you can submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. I recommend checking with your provider about your out-of-network benefits before we meet.
Do you offer a free consultation?
Yes. I offer a free 15-minute phone or video consultation so we can connect, talk through what’s bringing you in, and make sure we’re a good fit before you commit to anything.
How do you incorporate faith into your therapy practice?
If your faith is an important part of how you navigate your relationship, we can absolutely incorporate that into our work together. It is never required, but it is always an option.
I'm not sure which service is right for me. Can you help?
Absolutely. That’s exactly what the consultation call is for. Fill out my contact form, tell me a little about what’s going on, and we’ll figure it out together.
